THE RECORD

On July 7, 2023, Rosemene’s children became concerned after they had not heard from their mother and learned she had not reported to work. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office investigators searched the home Rosemene shared with her boyfriend, Pierre Pinard, and discovered evidence of a violent altercation, including blood in the bedroom. Investigators later located Rosemene’s body in the trunk of a vehicle. Pinard was arrested and charged in connection with her death. Prosecutors said Pinard attempted to clean the scene and move Rosemene’s body after the killing.
