THE RECORD
During the early morning hours of December 19, 2022, Sharry Colon was fatally shot while sleeping in bed inside a Largo mobile home. Police identified her boyfriend, Ricardo Ortiz Gomez, as the person who shot her before dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A family member later discovered Sharry and Ortiz Gomez inside the residence and contacted law enforcement.
